dear shooting friends,

i have some questins about sight elevation, hopefully you can help.
i have a 1913 precise black with a mec spy rear sight and a 18mm front tunnel.

Last x-mas i bought myself a bloop tube. it includes a 4mm raiser block.

but what sight raiser do i need for the next combo...
blooptube and 22mm tunnel

do i need a 4 or a 8mm raiserblock

The 22mm tunnel will sit higher than the standard 18mm, so you'll have to raise the rearsight (and cheekpiece) to compensate. I'd say to try with the 4mm rear block at first. If you don't have enough elevation spare after zeroing (or less likely don't have enough elevation to zero), then try the 8mm rear block. The 8mm block may place the rearsight zero a little lower than with the 4mm raiser + 18mm tunnel.

It depends on the base - centre height of the 22mm tunnel vs the 18mm.

I'd only add that you need to insure your final solution leaves around 10 minutes of rear-sight elevation to go from 50 to 100 yards. Not something you could fix in the middle of a match.

Don't know if this will help......
I installed the Anschutz Terminator bloop tube on my Anschutz 2013.
The tube was 4mm higher than the original barrel (Lilja match barrel).
I installed a 4mm rear riser block, not installing the front and have had no issue with sight elevation.
The gentlemen who originally owned the rifle used a 4mm block on the front and 2 4mm blocks on the rear, but my neck did not like this combination.

4 mm is enough for blooptube and 22mm front tunnel
