Which 10 meter air rifle?

Post by Wpvince »

It's time for me to get a new air rifle. I have an hw55 that I've shot my whole life. I'm really more into air pistol but I'd like to have a new one for target shooting in the basement and possibly some club stuff. My dad has a fwb 600 and a new lg400. I don't really want to spend the money on a new lg 400 and the fwb 600 seems a little heavy and I think I want a pcp as I have the compressor and tank. I guess I'm looking for something in between my fathers 2 rifles. Lmk thanks. Wyatt

Upgrade to Center Pro 57 sights and adjust the trigger 2nd stage and it's a great rifle for under $1000.

I would look for a used tier1 rifle.

Both rifles linked above have ambi stocks.
I do NOT like ambi stocks, as (to me) they are neither RH nor LH. The issue is the pistol grip of an ambi stock (on my P70jr) is not as comfortable (for me) as a dedicated RH grip. So I find my hand fighting the grip.

Used LG 300 Alutec since you are set up with Walther. I have a LG300 Dominator for outside silhouette, and it really has the same solid feel as my LG400.
