JO Mens prone

Post by cvh »

How is participation in the prone match determined, and when is it fired? I cannot seem to find anything other than results. Thanks for your help.

Qualification is done by your 3-P score. No separate match.
i.e. if you get an invite it will be for both

Appears that men will shoot a 40x60x40 at the championship, but Tyler has not firmed that up yet. I'm guessing by what USAS is doing at Rocky

Whats your opinion on if prone will be scored in decimals or integer if they decide to do a 40-60-40? I think they can flop scores in and out of decimal as a whole, just not sure if they can do it when tied to other positions?

I would guess (and remember, I'm only guessing) that prone will be decimal scoring.

I know that they should be able to flop the whole 40-60-40 to decimal and just extract the prone position scores, and then flip back to integer for the 3x40 (and deleting the last 20 prone shots).

Jim & Bud can figure that out I'm sure.
