IPC World Cup GBR

Post by Thomas Monto »

The IPC World Cup GBR started yesterday in Stoke Mandeville (“birthplace” of the Paralympics). Starting things off for the US team yesterday, Tammy Delano fired a 386.8 for a 10th place finish in the R2 SH1 Air Rifle Standing Women’s event. This morning was the R3 SH1 Air Rifle Prone Mixed event marking some very close calls for team USA. John Joss finished 9th with a 624.6, only 0.3 out of the final. Similarly, the team score of 1869.5 (also including Tammy Delano [13th] and Josh Budd[15th]) was good for 4th, but only 1.2 behind Bronze. That team score is good for a new IPC Americas Record.

This afternoon, McKenna Dahl competes in the R5 SH2 Air Rifle Prone Mixed event.
