ISCH Hanover Germany

Post by Thomas Monto »

Mike Tagliapietra finished 4th in P3 (sport pistol mixed) @ ISCH in Hanover GER with a 538 (271 + 267).

He was in 3rd half way through rapid fire, but struggled to finish after a very nice start (142/150). Overall, an outstanding result for his first International match and only about a month into rapid training.

Teammate Kerry Morris never quite found his rhythm and finished with a 513.

John Joss will shoot his R6 final tomorrow, going into it 3rd in tenths scoring and in a 3 way tie for 3rd in raw score. John will also compete in both the ISSF 50m Men’s Prone and the IPC R3 (Air Rifle Prone) on Saturday.

In P1 (Men’s Air Pistol), Eric Hollen was disappointed with a sub-par 539. New AMU Para shooters Shaun Tichenor (529) and Eric Trueblood (519) fired their first International matches today as well. Both have been shooting for just a few months and hope to progress rapidly to be ready for Rio in 2016. Shaun’s score was slightly above his average and great to see in a big competition.
