High Standard Pistol maintenance

Hello,

I just purchased a Victor circa 1973 that the seller claims has not been fired - and by the looks of it I agree. After so many years on the shelf is there any special maintenance should be performed?

Thanks, Dan

I would give it a clean and lube. New springs wouldn't be a bad idea especially the recoil spring. Only shoot standard velocity 22's in it. That last bit is from Bob Shea who worked for the original High Standard.

Thanks - I've ordered new springs from Wolff.
