Sight adjustment on Baer .45

Post by bentrod »

I have a Baer .45 wad gun, Bo Mar sights.

1. - What is the MOA adjustment on the sights?

2. - Sight change with bright sun on the target - if the sun is from the right, than a windage change is needed in the opposite direction, true?

3. - Ultra Dot, no change is needed with sun changing angle, true?

I am a new BE shooter and keeping on top of sight changes is giving me fits.

thanks

Jim

Baer sight changes

True Bomar sights have always been fairly consistant with 1/2 min clicks But let me sugest leaving the sights alone and shooting a full ten shot group, Then center the group using the the sight change ratio I have mentioned. If you are a high master there is nothing wrong with zeroing off your calls but this requires a lot of confidence in the accuracy of your call. One more idea has to do with the accuracy of your pistol its self. If the strike of the bullet dosen't match the calls you may want to have it ransom rested again. Lets hope that is not the case.
