If you pick up a firearm then you need shooting glasses

Forget about improving the sight picture, that only benefits your shooting. The important bit is protecting your eyes and losing sight in one or both eyes WILL be a life-altering experience!
So! If you are going to wear galsses when shooting you might as well make the best of the situation. Suggest you might like to start at

Sasha,
Front sight clear, target fuzzy is the way it is supposed to be (according to all the experts). That said, I have 20/20 uncorrected vision. I wear shooting glasses that correct me to about 20/15. Every little bit helps. For my 50m shooting, I like to be able to focus back and forth between the target and the front sight. I also need to be able to see the wind flags. I wear "reading" glasses at work, even though my near vision is also still 20/20. It puts a lot of strain on my eyes to stare at a computer all day. The reading glasses help my eyes not get overworked from trying to focus so close (I'm slightly farsighted), so when I go home to practice I can still see.
Hope this helps,
Eric
