Pardini SP/HP or HP/SP Conversions

Post by Don Nygord »

Thanks to those who called me about the threads on this subject. For those who have made the conversions, it is probable that you have put SP parts into the HP frame. This will sort of work, but the problem is that the HP does NOT have one of the necessary guide pins for the differently dimensioned SP bolt. You should not be able to get the HP bolt into a SP frame. The other smaller difference is that the HP ejection port is larger and if you were to get HP parts into the SP frame, ejection might be problematic. So, the bottom line is that this in NOT a good idea.
