Re: Maddalena Earns Medals and U.S. Olympic Quota at Worlds
I remember watching her when she trained at the Modesto Rifle Club along with the California Grizzlies Junior Rifle Team. There have been some other shooters who have gone on to achieve International status. For a bit of a background see https://thecmp.org/former-member-of-california-grizzlies-junio...

Re: Air Pistol Hold and Gap Control
I found the same issue. Now I start with a blank target behind my shooting target and move the top target around so that I can get 20-25 shots on that target. Of course you have to have a little bit larger back board.

Re: Probably a book
Disregard this request. I believe that I have located the source, a book. A Shooter's Guide to Pistol Marksmanship by Allan Lozsan. It appears to be Australian and is long out of print.

I downloaded a pdf on-line about gripfitting however, I cannot find where it came from. The first part shows a Table of Contents broken up into different parts. 1. The Essential Skills; 2. The Matches; 3. Improving Performance; 4. Mental Skills; 5. General. There are 123 pages. The only section at t...

Modifing an older AP
I have an older Feinwerbau 2 CO2 pistol. The grip on top stops with the frame. More modern pistols have the grip extend over the top of the hand. Within the rules, can I attach a piece of wood under the frame to extend over the top of my hand? I have attached two photos showing the difference betwee...

Re: Air Cylinder Recertification?
I believe that the original question was about the cylinder attached to the pistol and now the one it is filled from.

Re: FWB90
I started shooting AP with a FWB 65. They then made the 80 and then the 90. I went to the FWB 2 (CO2) which I am just starting to shoot again. According to the manual, your 90 weighs 1350 g unless it is the short barrel which is 10 g less. https://forum.vintageairgunsgallery.com/feinwerkbau-pistols/...

Re: MONTHLY AP LEAGUE JULY 2022
After not shooting for many years, (1980's?), I have been doing some dry fire practice. Obviously not enough :-(. I shot my first match today at the Coyote Gun Range (San Mateo, CA). I think there were two or three scores in the in the 560-570 range and a few much lower, like me. I couldn't even bre...

Is there a monthly Free Pistol League on this forum? The last thing I saw was in 2019. Did I miss it?

Re: Looking to get back into competitive pistol
Good Luck to you Curtosis. I too used to shoot Air Pistol and Free Pistol back in the 1980's and 90's. I am in Northern California and trying to locate any local matches. There used to be many in the SF bay area but no more that I can find. I shoot a Pardini PGP 75 for Free Pistol and Feinwerbau Mdl...
