Re: Pardini Trigger replacement

Well.....
Things change.
I installed the short trigger myself and it made a huge difference for me.
I also altered the internals to take the two stage to a one stage long roll, worked great.
FWIW, I recommend the short trigger for bullseye shooting.

Re: 32 s&w l wc and WST

Start with 1.5gr WST and adjust up for function.
Crimp also plays a huge part in the .32 wadcutter.

Re: Pardini scope ring question

I used the Warne CZ rings for my Pardini, they work great. You can go one further and get the quick disconnect rings to take the dot off and use irons for CMP .22 Pistol Distinguished. I have an extra set laying around since I went with the Aimpoint Micro and Kodiak base. I will sell them, if you ar...

Re: Olympic quality firearms/air guns manufactured in the US

I used to shoot smallbore in the late 90's. The Winchester 52 was very accurate with the right ammo. When the CMP sold the H&R M12 I bought one, that was a stellar gun. Federal Gold Medal UMB, the old stuff with the dimple in the back, shot one hole groups in that rifle. If that rifle was put in...

Re: Pardini HP 32, ammo talk

Dave, I have a question for you.

You installed a wadcutter barrel in my Pardini. Does the .32 S&W Long headspace off the rim? Have you ever tried trimming the brass back and loading with swc, rn, ect.?

Thanks, Dan.

Re: Pardini counterweight recoil reduction system

With less mass of aluminum you will loose a little bit of the dampening effect. But let's be realistic, the recoil of a 22 is not going to keep you from cleaning the target, but an improperly balanced pistol might.

Re: Click/sight values 25 vs 50 yd

No club in Greenville shoots bullseye pistol, it's IDPA. Last match in Dallas was 11/2016. No more matches there until a new match director steps up. Terrell shoots a non-registered 1800 with 50 yard slowfire and turning targets at 25. You can shoot .22 for both matches there. 4th Sunday. Austin has...

Re: What's your high score?

A few come to mind. The spindle I shot out of a spotter disk at 200 yards standing during a Service Rifle match. The time a boy scout group was shooting bowling pins with .22 rifles at 50 yards. I went down range with them and set up 5 pins for myself at 50 yards, and proceeded to knock them down wi...

Xman, I live 30 minutes north of you. Skip those other clubs and come shoot bullseye at Terrell Rifle and Pistol Club, every 4th Sunday starts at 9am. Also check out Texas Precision Pistol Network on facebook. Hope to see you around.

Contact Dave Wilson (fp60). He can rebarrel the .32 Pardini with his custom .32 barrel. The .22 Pardini is probably not much different.

Re: Pardini SP Bullseye Edition ammo choice

Xeye,
Remove and inspect your shock buffer for cracks or chips missing. The shock buff material can break off and fall into the trigger group potentially causing malfunctions like you describe.

Re: Frt sight focus issue or slow speed

I use a Gehmann iris when I shoot irons, it helps me see the front sight very clearly. I also put a small white dot of white out, centered, on the top edge of the front sight. That helps me concentrate on that point. If you shoot .22 pistol, Terrell Rifle and Pistol Club has a bullseye pistol match ...

Re: A National Match Discussion

I really dislike wading through calf deep mud, that's really just reconstituted pig feces from 100+ years ago. And smells like it too.... 2016 was not as bad as far as the mud goes, but Camp Perry was under a drought then too. A slightly raised berm would solve that problem. I'm also not a big fan o...
