Cranky;
PM me your address and I'll mail you 5 targets. The more RF shooters, the better!

Thanks,

I couldn't get the link for the Sanderson video in the post above to work. I found the video and pasted a new link here (even though it looks identical to the link in the first post. Darn gremlins.)

Thanks. That could have been embarrassing down the road. I'm amazed that I missed that change - thank heavens for Target Talk!

Was there a RF Qualification rule change on the countdown?

Ok. I'm embarrassed to admit I might have missed a rule change. In the thread on "Where to get a Rapid Fire elec trainer" someone pointed to 8.7.6.3 and asked if the 3-2-1 countdown hadn't been changed to the 7 second countdown used in the new finals format. Sure enough that's how the rule...

In looking at the page I misspoke on the modification I had him make - it was the center white dot I had him eliminate to more accurately simulate the real world targets.

Bob, that is exactly what I had seen and was looking for and want! I have one that I got from that site. Great guy to deal with - prompt responses to emails, and modified mine for me with no problems (I didn't want the circles printed on the target face to more closely replicate the electronic targ...

Welcome to the forum. Do a search of the forum for previous posts on both pistols - you will find a ton of them, especially regarding the MG-2. People have pretty strong opinions about that one - some folks got lemons, some didn't. Save rehashing all of that out again for the thousandth time here. I...

As listed in the heading bar, this website is "a place to talk about Olympic style shooting...", which is exactly what Conradin has been doing. I, and I imagine others, have learned things from his posts and the responses to his posts, which is the purpose of this site. Does Conradin post ...

Here's a new question for this thread. I have a Pardini SP1 RF, electronic trigger. It has recently begun slipping into automatic fire. I'll be shooting a five shot RF string, and two or three shots will cycle with one trigger pull. I have not made any significant adjustments to the trigger from sto...

How easy is the Sugru to remove? I help coach a collegiate team, and it would be great to have something that a student could use for a couple years reliably that we can then pop off when they graduate. I've used Sugru on my pistol grips, and also removed all of it, several times. It "peels&qu...

I'm interested. I'm just now beginning all the learning and planning necessary to start a competitive rifle program at my local high school (grade 7-12), so if I'm off base on any of the following comments, excuse my ignorance (I'm really a rapid fire pistol guy, which makes starting a youth program...

I have serial number BE0447, and bought it about seven years ago here in the US. That being said, I've never had a single issue with it and wouldn't hesitate buying it new today, especially if you can get it at a discount.

Thanks for the info! I've been a regular member for years and have been wanting to upgrade to life member but couldn't bring myself to spend the $1,000. Just upgraded for $300 and it only took about two minutes.

Thanks,

Coach Ray (rapid fire AMU coach) told me at Nationals in June that his position was to be eliminated in Sept. or Oct. I have not talked to him in a couple months so I don't know what the current status of that is. He had enough time in to retire, so he'll be ok on that level, but he'd really prefer ...

Nice set-up. I did have a question though- isn't the green light supposed to be on the bottom and the red on top? (I could be wrong - I'm just a poor old rapid fire shooter, and just basing it on the RF setup.)

Sorry- couldn't resist.

To bring it back on point, Judith, I think you would really appreciate reading "With Winning in Mind" by Lanny Basham. He speaks to some of the questions you are asking.

Re: Vibration Reduction System: Defined

Any device, mechanism or system that artificially reduces, slows or minimizes rifle oscillations or movements before the shot is released is prohibited.
Kind of defines a sling, doesn't it?
