Re: Looking for info on the old 9003 Precise AIRGUN STOCK

This is immensely helpful, thank you Paul. From your photo I can answer a bunch of my own questions, greatly appreciate it. Main differences are in the position of the sights relative to the shooter in the same position... - stack heigh between stock and rear sight dovetail will be different - eye r...

Looking for info on the old 9003 Precise AIRGUN STOCK

Does anyone know if the old 9003 Precise air rifle stock matches the smallbore Precise stock? Not the newest rendition of the "Precise" airgun, the OG shiny version from 10 years ago. It looks like the buttplate and cheekpiece carriers are the same, and it "appears" the stock con...

Re: 10m only soon?

The way I read this is: you can hold a World Cup that only includes 10m events

Not, World Cup is now only 10m.

Re: ISSF Rule 7.4.2.4 --- The 140mm rule for metal stocks

but wait...someone's ears must be burning because the USAS website just updated to say For the time being USA Shooting rules will be the ISSF Rulebook Version 1.1. These rules can be found at the following location: ISSF RULEBOOK Any rules not being enacted or that will be modified for a match will ...

Re: ISSF Rule 7.4.2.4 --- The 140mm rule for metal stocks

On a related note, what exactly do you mean by USA Shooting no longer using USAS rules, instead using ISSF? I've been trying to figure this out all year. USAS website still lists 2016 rulebook, and the match program for Fall Selection says "Current USA Shooting Rules will govern this competitio...

Great, thanks for saving my sanity. I really do have a hard enough time already with that thing in equipment control, I don't need one more guessing game.

Re: New ISSF Rules - Partial Summary

I feel like I'm kicking the dead horse here but... I scanned through the 6 pages on this thread so far, but here's one more question... 7.4.2.1 No part of the butt plate (outer edges) may extend more than 30 mm from the butt stock center-line. Does this include the knurled knob on the side of the bu...

Re: Anschutz 9015 One vs. Anschutz 9003

It depends.

Which one do you like better?

the 9015 is so new there isn't much data to compare. Also, people have done amazing things with the 2002 and 8002 as well. Whatever fits you and you shoot well.

Re: Question on sight riser blocks

I shoot prone with one set of 8mm Anschutz risers, but both kneeling and standing with a second set of 8mm risers. It was an easier change when course of fire was P/S/K but doesn't take long during a match to change out.

Re: 8002 vs 9003

Originally I shot an 8002s1 (of the Orange variety). I have Precise for Smallbore, so I bought 9003 Precise for Air Rifle. Most people seem to like the curve in the Precise stock, but I found I shoot better with a straight stock, so I now shoot a brand new alu 8002s2 with stabilizer. The 9003 Precis...
