Thanks for that information! It could be malware, but the thing was slow right out of the box. I think my problem might be bloatware, so I'll try to get rid of that.

A possible (partial) remedy might be to raise the pistol gangsta style and then rotate the wrist. Your elbow will end up facing a little more R-L than up-down. Don't know why or how I discovered this, but I feel less strain that way (I have no tendonitis, though).

Pardini USA is announcing they have Eley Bullseye Pistol X for sale by the case. I've never tried this stuff but I know that some of their ammo is very waxy, which I don't like. Does anyone have experience with Bullseye ammo?

Mine hasn't ever popped up on its own. The tiny spring in there keeps it in the down position unless I push it up, and it's held in place by the force of the slide spring. The screw does come loose after a very few shots, though. Thanks for the advice on the Lock Tite and the tip about the hex key!
