Re: Gear bag/box

whatever you decide on, remember you have to get it loaded into the vehicle. The Ogio works great, hold everything except the shooting mat, has enough places to grab to get it loaded, although there are times I've sworn somebody put some lead weights in mine

Re: Soft rifle case recommendations?

Champions Choice offers a well padded soft sided rifle case, but I can't get their website to open. The case looks exactly like the Anschutz soft sided rifle case, but I think the CC model was priced lower. Might give them a call, looks like the website is down for maintenance?

Re: Smallbore Prone & F-Class Matches At Kettlefoot, Bristol Va

You're in a 300 mile radius of a good number of shooters and I looked up Kettlefoot's website and guessing the 30 firing point range would be used, beautiful club by the way. Personally I would be interested in attending a 3200, and if your dates tied in with some matches out east, even better. Ed F...

Re: Rear sight recommendation

If I were looking for a new rear sight, I would take a hard look at the Centra Spy. I really like the compact design, and think it could allow a person to watch wind flags without moving your head. I use a blinder on my non shooting eye, so my view is sometime hindered.

Re: Pardini FR22 vs Walther KK500

I shot next to a young gentleman that has a Pardini FR22 and I was impressed with the rifle, in both performance, fit and finish, and his assessment. He had just taken possession of it and was very happy with literally everything about it. It is a good looking setup, I wouldn't hesitate to give it g...

Re: Starik Carbon Tube

if someone is considering a carbon fiber tube, you might want to look at the Turbo carbon fiber from DiOrio. I have and use Starik tubes, recently got a Turbo and the quality and construction of the tuner/tube is considerably better with the Turbo, and you can actually talk with Anthony the owner. I...

Re: Anschutz, Walther, or Turbo, other?

Anschutz - parts and serviceability are big plusses Walther - Nice rifles, but service and parts seem to be an issue Turbo - I see a lot of shooters sell them, and move to other platforms there is absolutely no problems with parts or service with the Walther rifles, they have a service and parts fa...
