I've only ever used the original "Target" which then became "Target Rifle."

Disclaimer: I've never handled, let alone owned, a CM84. That said, in a number of Pardini standard pistols, free pistol and TOZ35s, RWS Target has been trouble-free chambering and extracting. It was Don Nygord's recommendation, and I took it.

1. Why do you change your grip between targets? That seems a recipe for otherwise unexplainable misses.

Do a thorough farkles inventory, and then base your decision on that. Speaking only for myself, I recommend the switch. For a length of time yet to be determined, you'll be able to blame your mediocre scores on having to learn a new system.
