Re: PRELUTEC Aftermarket Cylinder - Leaking - LP300

Why make trouble where it shouldn't be? 1) If you do not need 300 bar pressure inevitably, use max. 200 bar for filling. You will significantly facilitate filling and extend the life of the seal. 2) If you can, try to use original cartridges. It's definitely still in production. In case of problems ...

Re: Steyr LP10 Suddenly Died...

Small particles of the o-ring 29.9 (4 x 1,5 mm) penetrate into the interior of the pressure reducing valve 29 and prevent its proper functioning. This is the most common cause of the mentioned problems. It is very important to visually check the condition of the o-ring 29.9 regularly and replace it ...

Re: Cheap pellets problem K12

GECO and RWS Basic are produced by the same manufacturer. Probably on the same production facility. The ordinary user and the pistol will recognize them only by the different image on the label of the tin.

Re: Cheap pellets problem K12

Interesting indeed. The currently produced Geco pellets are universally recognized among shooters and are good. They have comparable quality and purity to RWS Basic. I am only a 10m shooter, not their dealer. I use them almost exclusively and for many years mainly because of their quality and at the...

Re: MGH1 leak

TomAmlie If you removed the pressure regulator from the MGH1 block, you needed to remove the trigger cover and loosen the two screws. Under one of these screws is a small steel ball, which usually falls out unnoticed during the first disassembly, and then there is a rapid and complete escape of air ...

Carl, First disassemble the entire trigger assembly, check for integrity, clean and install correctly. After the then make basic adjustments according to the procedure. https://www.targettalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=60674#p291557 (DavidM has been described here before.) You can only change the s...

Re: Is 10 Year Old Scuba Air Ok For Pistol?

The 10-year service life of aluminium alloy diving bottles cannot be confused with the service life of air cylinders or rifles. Both are designed for different ambient conditions and are made from other alloys and materials and by a different method of production. From the technical point of view an...

Re: clicking sound in Steyr evo 10?

So the question arises as to why this somewhat atypical condition occurs in the your EVO10. Check the speed (energy) of the pellet. The energy of the hammer will be very small and if the pellet still has a sufficient speed (150 - 160 m / s), the pressure regulator can be atypically adjusted. Usually...

Re: LP2 trigger anomaly

The trigger is probably not damaged. It needs to be thoroughly cleaned and completely reset. The complete setup has been addressed here before by the David M's detailed instructions. See link above

Re: Low ( very low ) velocity LP2

I recommend sending LP2 to the gun manufacturer's service. He will clean it and replace damaged parts, usually just o-rings and possibly cracked springs. Costs around 100 euros plus postage.

Re: Scatt USB Settings for Air PIstol

For the air pistol, the F coefficient setting from 15 to the extreme 35 (Nestrujev) is used. Only results with the same F coefficient are comparable. Look in the archive. An example is http://scattdb.com/file/5065. There you can find the complete results of a number of shooters, including the corres...

The correct F coefficient for air pistol is 25. The "0" is laser ray and the value 50 is suitable to the rifle shooting

Re: Better groups on blank target

Unfortunately, real shooting is not shooting at an empty target or a white wall. You have to learn that perfectly aligned sights are a direct extension of your hand and at the same time you must not disturb their coincidence by the necessary action of your finger on the trigger, while you have to ke...

Re: Better groups on blank target

The Scatt. Unfortunately, it will tell you and reveal your shooting individual limits. This can be quite depressing for some sport shooting adepts, but sometimes it can also be a challenge.

Re: Better groups on blank target

Many things will help to objectively reveal the Scatt shooting simulator. Objectively evaluates shooting at a target, on white paper, including a comparison of results when aiming at an area below six and at the total center of the target, at the lower edge of the target and so on. Evaluate the stab...
