Re: Wtb Anschutz 2013
I've got a 2013 bbl action and 2 stocks. One a 2213 cast aluminum, and the other the walnut thumbhole with a stepped forearm. At some point all need to go to finance a Grunig... or ... for no other reason they're cool ... Considering I'm not currently shooting because of health issues... and basical...

Re: dimensions of plastic inserts for 18mm front sight?
Yeah, might not scale by subtracting 4mm. Hence, 'reference'.

Re: dimensions of M18 plastic inserts?
My FWB air rifle has a stepped insert. It's a 22mm, but for reference the diameters are .708/.782 ... 18/19.8mm.

What to 'let go' ... but they're all so pretty ... and selling stuff is way more work then buying. A few weeks +++ I'm planning on being there... you'll likely recognize a change in the odor...

There's CMP rifles, and commercial models. Not sure, but I 'think' maybe the CMP rifles had Birch stocks?
They're otherwise nicely finished 'standard rifles'. Nowhere near as refined as an Anschutz ... but most of us aren't worthy of better anyway.

Re: Fwb corkscrew barrel
The twist of the barrel is faster than the rifling. So centripetal force results in the pellet being out of round ...
No doubt they calculated it for 10M as to minimize the points most likely lost.
Coriolis not likely a big issue ... but maybe 'Cornholio' ...

Shot Crosman pellets in my Powerline 'pump' gun ... before I upgraded to the HW-35 ... Got nothing but a 'blap' one day... Bluejays... Somehow happened to notice a pellet on the ground ... that had slid out of the barrel when I pointed it down... Shortly thereafter discovered there are real live gen...

Re: Cheap pellets problem K12
Far below the level you're talking ... I did a fair bit of bench testing of pellets in my break barrel HW-35 40+??? years ago. Meisterkugeln were noticeably more accurate than RWS Hobby ... but I never saw any issue with switching back and forth ... and the Bluejays never complained about being assa...

Looks like the same piece on my 1411. Mine has a pocket with '1733' cast in on the back side.
Considering it's a die casting, which tend to be brittle, seems a not bad idea to make a couple ... someday.

Re: WTB M22 Front sight Tunnel
I have a set that are .155 thick. Got them to add elevation for 200 yds with my 1411. Made a thicker rear so I didn't have to crank the sight. If you think that'll work, I can get a pic' tomorrow. They're aluminum, silver, and have setscrews that bear on the top face of the dovetails to hold them in...

Re: Which Globe
My 2013 is .437, grooved barrel.
1411 is .455.
FWB is .459.
Of course whatever corner radius is on them distorts the actual dimension.

Yeah, 'right hand rule' ... If you want otherwise for a long range/Palma rifle ... its a special order. I have a 'British' T-4 (??????) ... No 4 converted to 7.62 with a heavy barrel. Sight (RPA?) is 'backwards' ... to a match rifle shooter ... Makes for lost points here and there, for someone with ...

Other options, 416, ??? at various hardness, can work just fine together.
