Re: Pardini SP bolt wear and failure to feed

Gwhite, thank you for your suggestions on spring weight. I have started cutting my older recoil spring down and am seeing decent improvement. My only failure today was on a fully loaded mag with a brand new spring. I will keep working it back a couple of coils at a time until the short stroking stops.

Pardini magazine holder design

My son designed this 3d printed magazine holder for me for Christmas. It is sized for Pardini SP magazines. The design is available for free and can be used anyone who has a 3d printer.

Re: Pardini SP bolt wear and failure to feed

It appears that my SP is short stroking primarily on the 2nd round of a magazine. I noticed that the trigger is not resetting when this occurs but the case is ejected. Behavior occurs using SK Pistol Match and Aquilla SV ammo. It seems like the combination of recoil spring, mag spring under maximum ...

Re: Pardini SP bolt wear and failure to feed

At the moment, almost all of my failures are short strokes where no new round is picked up off the magazine. I have tried SK Pistol Match, Aguilla and Federal ammo and the failures seem to be random. I am tracking failures by magazine but do not have any that are particularly bad. During additional ...

Pardini SP bolt wear and failure to feed

I recently purchased an early 2000s SP and am chasing failure to feed problems. I have seen a number of different posts on SPs and have replaced recoil springs, recoil buffer and magazine springs without much luck. I have seen some improvement after scrubbing the chamber but am still having occasion...

Re: 3D-Printed Precision Target Pistol Grips

Andrew made a copy of my Walther gsp grips to fit an Izh46. He did a great job matching the grip angle and I am very happy with his product.

Re: LP50 for timed and rapid training

Thank you all very much for your comments. They were enough to convince me to give the LP50 a try. Now I just need to wait for the brown truck to arrive next week.

LP50 for timed and rapid training

I shoot a Walther gsp at weekly bullseye matches at a local club where I am on the waiting list to become a member. I do not have range access outside the matches and practice with a izh46 equipped with a custom grip made by Andrew Berryhill to replicate my gsp grip. Practice with the izh46 has help...
