The new G&E also removes the grip with the rear-end I think?

Re: The future of shooting jackets/pants after the olympics ?

The ISSF program for Paris 2024 has been announced, and is unchanged from Tokyo (AR, AR Teams, 3P), so no clothing changes based on that program.

Re: freETarget

hi common question :) the fact is that the sensors (microphones) pick up the sound wave of the pellet passing by, not the sound of the paper being ripped. the paper is there mostly for aiming purposes, providing a sound barrier and dispute management (in competitions). so the system works without a...

Re: freETarget

Hi Azmodan, I have been following your work since you first popped up, but something that I may have missed, you say above that you use standard target faces/paper? If there is no roll, what happens (after only a couple of shots) when a hole has been shot through the middle, and from then on there i...

No mention in there about accuracy or ISSF certification ? Does anyone know what accuracy this thing will provide?

Re: Butthook question 50m smallbore

I don't believe your leg is being pulled. The diagram provided makes sense for where the weights are mounted and what the rules state. A weighted hook is still in question. If it is made of the heavier material (i.e. tungsten for this example) I don't think it would be questioned. Attached weight t...

Re: Butthook question 50m smallbore

In this example attached pic the green is a weight, weights cannot go past the (imaginary) red line. This was explained to me by a senior ISSF equipment control official when I had a weight go a few mm past this line.

Re: 10m only soon?

The ISSF has been disappointing over the pistol shooting disciplines. The 50m event was ditched from the Olympic program on the understanding that it would continue to feature in ISSF sponsored World Cups and Championships. Alas, it look as though they have let us down yet again. I am hopeful that ...

Re: Walther LG400 loading lever

Hi, yes you just undo the bolt on each side and swap the arm and housing from side to side. You cannot change the direction of swing AFAIK. So if you put the arm on the left, it will rotate clockwise.

Re: SCATT Calibration?

Yes shoot your calibration shot from a rest, so long as it lands on target (somewhere) then calibration is good. After that, then shoot a couple of sighters also from the rest while in sighters mode, and while in sighters mode you can drag the shot towards the middle of the target (or wherever it la...

You are quoting Big Ben about his own rifle, not the Original Poster of this thread, Ultramag44.

Given the OP hasn't posted since 2013, I think it's unlikely that he is still following this thread.

I was lucky and knew a Russian Olympic shooter that imported the only mts13 in America and he passed it to me on his death. My family is from Tula Oblast so these rifles are like a source of pride for me! Good luck!
