Re: Hammerli 150 ammo?

A nice tip I got from a fellow free pistol shooter was to use baby q tips to clean the chamber. You get them in all pharmacies - works very well!

Re: Hammerli 150 ammo?

I shot CCI standard those years I had my 150.

Before matches I did use a paper towel and cleaned the tip of them to remove the excess wax, since that'll build up in the chamber and make it difficult to eject the empty cartridges.

Re: Universal Air Pistol Sighting Guide

I'm willing to make one but I need to know the brands and models to include (precision and rapid fire) It should be easy taking the AP list as a guide. Same for 50m. That would make a very good reference guide for most ISSF activities :) The most commonly used models in my area would be: Pardini SP...

Re: Steyr LP 50 upgrades?

I've had two LP50's, and the basic design has stayed the same, to my recollection! My first was a 2008 mechanical, and the current is a 2015 electronic trigger version. The only thing I know has changed in the trigger unit is the spring used for adjusting the trigger weight. The later springs are ad...

Re: Toz35M conversion to floating barrel

That was my reaction too, but I took inspiration from aftermarket weights / front-ends for Toz'es when I designed mine. But it's cool that the fronts ended up being just the same :)

Anyways, good job man!

Great work!

I did the same for my old Hämmerli 150, a few years ago. Picture here: https://www.instagram.com/p/4j9-VUysK5/

If anyone's interested in 3D files for this one, let me know and I'll see what I can dig out.

Re: Steyr LP grip size?

Have a look at Morini's website, they still make grips for all air pistols - even Steyr. It's just that they don't produce them on contract for Steyr anymore: http://www.morini.ch/product.php?cat=5 For reference, here's Rink's list of grip parameters explained: https://www.formgriffe.de/en/shpSR.php...

Re: 200 BAR to quick connect for Morini adapter ...

Just for kicks, here's my story: We bought a Bauer compressor from a shooting store, and the plan was to use that to fill 3 scuba tanks that the shooters would use on our 10m range - so we wouldn't have to listen to compressor noise there. We immediately had problems, there didn't seem to be any way...

How about 3D printing something that would fit your needs?

I did once see something for a Steyr but the only thing I could find atm was this:

It looks like you may have purchased the wrong one, then...

Perhaps you can find some fittings but after having done that excercise after we bought a compressor I'd say it'll cost too much.

Re: Alternative trigger for Steyr Evo etc

I like it. Seems easier to find the correct spot for my finger every time. I'm considering adding a couple of rubber bands to really fine tune the correct spot.

Downside is that it cannot be rotated, but I don't need that.

Common problem with the LP50, but it's for this gun in particular - this issue is not the same in the other Steyr pistols. The LP50 trigger unit is bulky and takes up a lot of space.

I think I just hammered the smallest unbrako/hex tool (incl. with the LP10) into the pin to release it.

Re: Steyr LP10 coming apart?

This happened to me about a year ago. 6 year old LP10, probably 15000 shots fired.

Spring broke near the end, the exposed pointy part made its way up and became visible. Got a new spring, watched the video, fixed in no time!

Probably true, but that doesn't help much when MEC won't ship regular post to Norway. ONLY DHL! At least two years ago, when I bought the book.

For your information, the letter rate from Germany to Norway is 7,00 Euros (501 grams to 1000 grams) and 17,00 Euros (1001 grams to 2000 grams). The economy books rate is 6,00 resp. 12,00 Euros.

Only DHL shipping to Norway from MEC. Because we're not in EU I think

Great book, worth every penny. I bought one directly from MEC. http://shop.mec-shot.com/catalogsearch/result/?___store=mec_shop_en&q=5000204 Mee too. I believe 40 EUR for the book, 35 EUR for shipping. Unfortunately I couldn't find any other way of obtaining the book here in Norway. Some shops ...
