Re: 32 ACP - "Flash in the Pan"?

My frame was purchased as a complete hp. I load the t&b lswc. I have a lengthy loading process, but it has proven to work well. I shoot the hp point for point with my sp. shooting a national match short course I normally shoot them both in the 94-95% area. With that said, I recently stopped shoo...

Re: 32 ACP - "Flash in the Pan"?

I still enjoy shooting my 32 acp. I have a load, or more importantly a loading strategy that works for me. My 32 shoots point for point with my sp.

Re: Steyr LP50 trigger (blade) compatability question.

Scrum,

Did you have any luck finding info? I have an Evo. I can't stand the blade on the trigger. I'm running into the same problem as you. I see a ton of trigger options for rifles, but not sure if any will fit the Evo.

Re: Older Steyr Mannlicher lp10

I did follow the video, but I really think the pins in this early Mannlicher are staked. They weren't budging. I was able to rotate the bolt roller so that the warn side is facing down, and no longer effected the bolt arm. All is working perfectly now.

Re: Older Steyr Mannlicher lp10

Kevinweiho, Agreed. They were both craftsman, by no means top quality, punches. I have watched the videos a dozen times. That's why I am so amazed they haven't budged. He just pops them out. I have no idea what the previous owner may have done with it in the time he had it. Maybe I'll try heating up...

Re: Older Steyr Mannlicher lp10

Afternoon hundert,
Thank you for your response. I tried adjusting the barrel a number of times without luck. You can see the roller has wear on the one side.

Lol. I hear you on that. I always use an armorers block when pushing pins.

Older Steyr Mannlicher lp10

Evening, I have an old Steyr Mannlicher lp10 that I bought used here last year. I am having issues. The bolt roller is the older fixed style. It appears that it has warn down, and it will no longer allow the bolt arm to catch the bolt, keeping it closed. Based on an upgrade video produced by Steyr, ...

Re: Sporters/precision

Thank you for taking the time to respond. That is very helpful. I will look into the ssp. I will be shooting in regular clothes anyway. So maybe a sporter is what I want.

Sporters/precision

Evening, I am a pistol shooter that would like to get into rifle shooting. I compete in bullseye and enjoy shooting 10m AP. I have zero competition rifle background. I should say that I have no intention of publicly competing, however, I am very competitive with myself. I want to be able to shoot as...

Re: Older Steyr upgrades

Thank you all for your thoughts. I am not actually having any problems with the lp10. I just had a "latest and greatest" mentality. I have been using it to shoot 10m style for about 8 months and am averaging in the mid 550s. If everybody seems to agree that the trigger upgrade isn't worth ...

Re: Older Steyr upgrades

Sorry. I'm in the US, Just outside Philadelphia. I emailed Steyr about a year ago and they never responded. Figured I would try and find someone stateside.

Older Steyr upgrades

Hey all, I have an older Steyr Mannlicher lp10. I would like to get the trigger and cocking arms upgraded to the newer ball bearing styles. The bolt upgrade looks easy enough, if I could get the parts; however I read that the trigger upgrade involves drilling. Anyone know someone that may offer thes...
