Re: How to Shoot Yourself in the Foot with an Anschutz LP@

I am new to shooting 10m air - I was surprised with an awesome birthday gift - a Steyr Evo 10e. When shooting for the first time I was afraid to torque the cylinder on too much, so I thought I had it on tight enough when I hit resistance. I got the same malfunction as you did, several good shots and...

Re: Ball bearings at DNBBGCM?

I wasn't able to attend National's this year with our team, but our coaches who took the team were pretty impressed with consistency of the Daisy issued ball bearings. The only issue was cleaning some of the oil off of them in an effort to keep from gumming up the shot tube. Kind of funny though - a...

Re: Daisy National Rumor

That's good to hear, I hope it continues also, we had heard that Gamo was evaluating. We went last year for the first time and are headed back this year too. It's a great event and I hope it stays around.

Re: Small frame sitting position

My daughter had the same issue, her torso was so long that she had a hard time getting into a good sitting position. This year our head coach put her in the position that Don described and it made a world of difference, it just takes a little getting used to.

Daisy National Rumor

Has anyone else heard a rumor that this may be the last year of the Daisy Nationals?

Re: Airforce Edge

Thank you to both for your replies. After research and taking your comments, we (actually, a very generous member)
decided to add a couple of T200's to supplement our Crosman's.

Re: Airforce Edge

Thank you very much, that's what I have been hearing - no real consistency. Our Challengers work really well, so we'll be sticking with them!

Airforce Edge

Does anyone have any recent experience with the Edge? We are using Challengers for our Sporter shooters now, but want to add more rifles and was thinking about trying a couple of these - I know they are backordered for a while... The Crosmans are solid, these just look like they may be better adapte...

Re: Airgun Backstop?

I am manager of a 4H Shooting Sports club in Cypress, TX, and this was a problem we went through our first year (we just started year 3) also. We went through stuffed cardboard boxes, foam archery targets, etc. My Church lets us use space, so we had the same considerations as far as portability and ...

Re: Avanti 747 not discharging all air

Thank you. I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back on here. I have been very satisfied with the accuracy of our 747's, and the responsiveness of Daisy's customer service, but have been disappointed with the build quality of our pistols. The valves have had to be replaced on all 4 pistols, and...

Avanti 747 not discharging all air

I noticed one of my Daisy Avanti 747 club guns does not discharge all air when the trigger is pulled, with velocity noticeably less. I have insured the pump handle is within tolerances as per the manual and everything is properly lubricated. Does anyone know of any easy adjustment, or is it best to ...

Re: CMP "Aces" Postal

I had a ball shooting the 2nd Q last week with my daughter. Very humbling however! I am our 4H pistol coach and a long time LE FI, and my daughter just started shooting this year. Her rifle coach has been doing great work (she's a CMP Distinguished in rifle) with her and it has showed during recent ...
