lomg time ago

The joke about that time was "What location are we going to shoot next."

I finally had to give it up in the mid 80's due to travel time with my job.

Doc. Schlictemeirs is conducting pistol match at the Weeping Water Club which is located near Weeping Water, NE.

Good to hear from you.

Daisy BB Guns

It’s been a while since I fooled with BB guns. But once i did. There were two Jaycee model 99. One was a 50 shot or so magazine fed and the other was a “bulk” fed. The 499 was a later model which was ‘muzzle loaded. Common to all BB guns is the action spring. This common ‘factory’ spring propels the...

getting new shooters

Here in Nebraska, a state that many of you have either driven through or flew over, we have a High School Trap Program. This year, the last week end in April, a State Shoot was held in Doniphan NE. It drew just over 1,800 + entries over the 4 day event. Not that I’m switching from rifle to shotgun. ...

25 foot TQ-9 Target

Here is a 25 foot ISU Pistol target. If you want to find out the sight adjustment at close range, these two 25 foot targets may help. Place the target, in the center of your pellet trap. Shoot 3 shot groups to get on the target. After you get on the paper (target), again shoot 3 shot groups until al...

The B-1 target

If you don't have 33 feet and have close to 25 feet, try the B-1 or the TQ-9.

Attached is a gif of the B-1. It's a good one to start with. I have a copy of the TQ-9 after a while

I have a postage scale and just as you say, an empty tank weights 400 grain. But for what ever reason, I can't seem to fill a tank to more than 420 or so. After the holidays, I taking my supply tank in for a check or refill. In the mean time, my 853 will be the rifle of choice. Attached is a jpeg of...

I agree with Tony all the way. I would like to add something. I feel a person should collate their shooting ability with their ammunition. Many years ago before I switched to air guns, when a parent came to me and asked what ammunition I was starting them out on, I’d replied “Wildcats”. When they co...

daisy 888 co2 tank

What is the procedures for filling a co2 tank on the 888. What I think is an empty tank has a weight of about 411 grams. On a postage scale. I hook it up to my co2 supply and let it sit about 4 or 5 minutes. The tank now weight 437 grams. Which equals 26 grams and converted to onces is .917. What am...

Daisy BB Gun

Keep in mind that a BB gun is something at a Grandpa buys his garndkid(s) and the mother locks up. For the most part, accuracy is not a part of it. But if you want BB gun accracy, start with the model 99, 199 or the 499. Some people like the Daisy 845 which lays somewhere between the 99's and the 85...
