Re: Rear sight for FWB 700

I used an Anschutz rear sight on my FWB. Other shooters in our club have done the same. Walther will not fit FWB.

Re: 1st PCP: LG400 or FWB800X

I chose the bench rest model with wooden stock.
The aluminum stocks feels too cold when the temp drops.
See link below to Walther air rifles and see the differences.

Re: 1st PCP: LG400 or FWB800X

Looks like LG400.
I have one and it is superb.
Another plus is the LG400 cylinder will hold up to 300 bar

Re: Shooting with contacts

I have to shoot with the RGP contacts. I don't add drops after I put them in. If I add drops before a match, I get an inconsistent focus.

Re: AR clean bore

I will not shoot the felt pellets through my rifle for 2 reasons. * When a felt pellet is fired, some of the fibers blow back toward the seal and there may or may not be potential for this to get back toward the regulator. I saw one rifle with a large buildup of felt fibers on the bolt face. Enough ...

Re: Walther LG400 air rifles. Pros and Cons?

I previously discussed the LG400 I recently purchased.
No negatives.
I was apprehensive about the insight Out sights.
They are the best sights I have used.
Walther LG400 is top of the line.

Re: Walther LG400 air rifles. Pros and Cons?

I just purchased the LG400 Competition. Cocking effort is very light. Loading pellets are easy for old fat fingers. Cylinders are rated for up to 300 bar, vice 200 bar. You can't over fill the cylinder with a standard scuba tank at 3500 psi. The insight out rear sight is supposed to be the cat's meo...
