Pellet testing
Pellet testing . . . one of Rovers favorite subject. There are a lot of conversations that talk about shooting sports and how they are affected because they are part of youth shooting programs. Lead is ALWAYS a concern. If it is not then you are not aware of its potential negative impact, and have n...

The Pardini . . . . . muzzle weight does effect some shooters, and is overcome by replacing the steel shroud with an aluminum shroud, and the weighs can be retained.. http://i604.photobucket.com/albums/tt128/jerrykeefer/IMG_0218_zps86595229.jpg Reviving this necropost. Re: You wanna buy WHAT?
I had an Alfa Proj that I loved and shot my best score with, a 556 IIRC back around 2011. I loved the balance of the Alfa Proj. It did not hold up well over time I see that the Alfa Proj is now priced at around $1,100 which strikes me as ridiculous. Wild how the prices vary so much. $1,809.99 https...

Only if you're headed to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. From what I hear, they have a real asshole there. The TSA procedure is 👀 Getting into COS is easy. Just pick up your bag off the baggage carousel. Getting out with an air pistol is more difficult than with a firearm. When dep...

Re: Lp50?
Depending on the match, they may have equipment inspections. In that case they may check the manufacturing date of your cylinder. Older than 10 years is not allowed at ISSF sanctioned events. Factor in the price of a new cylinder if buy a used gun if you will participate in those matches.

Re: Range Day for SASP Coach Training
Hello kbean,
Scheduling for SSSF Pistol Coach class can take place thru the SASP National office or thru the local agency that manages the Coach training for your state (if there is a partnership agreement for that state). Only the National Director can answer that.

I’m a little torn on the midway account. Midway Foundation offers crazy good opportunity. 1. They match donations to your account 1:1. 2. They cover 100% of the cost of the fundraising items. 3. They will provide the raffle tickets. 4. They have a wide variety of products you can select for fundrai...

The pistols you mention have GREAT triggers. One of our local club members offered to loan us a IZH46 when one of my athletes was struggling with equipment issues. Several athletes commented on the amazing trigger qualities . . . Why not Izh46? The main reason is the weight. 2.86 pounds is much heav...

Re: Supported Rest Shooting for pistol
USA Shooting has a program for Juniors called PPP (Progressive Position Pistol). This allows Juniors to use a device called a 'T-stand' or a 'J-stand' to carry the weight of the pistol when they compete from the standing position. The PPP-stand is allowed in USA Shooting and SASP competition for you...
