Re: preferred muzzle velocity for pardini k12

Gerard, I have been seeing a very good sports Physiotherapist and has got my shoulders and upper back loosened up with one of the foam rollers. No not for painting but for exercise. It is 8" x 60" and allows me to unwind my spine and open up the chest. If your wife has insurance you might ...

Re: Solid lead backer versus duct seal?

I should think it within the skill set of most people to melt down some used pellets in an old cake pan. A plumbing torch should be sufficient, resting the cake pan on a couple of bricks well away from your house. Stay upwind of the fumes. Just keep adding pellets until you've half was filled the p...

Re: Back problems for hardcore 3P smallbore & air rifle shoo

Paul I don't think it is the shooting standing that is the problem. It is a combination of the heavy bags and gun cases that we carry and the crappy bunks at Camp Perry that have ruined our backs. Or for the 17 years I was in Special Forces(Green Beret) I carried a heavy ruck. Now to shoot 3P is ve...

Yeah I am thinking of building up the grip on my Pardini and the sending it to Rink to have it duplicated. Just don't like the way a grip looks all gooped up with putty!

Unless Gerard can find me a good burl he can carve on! LOL! :-)

What country do you live in?
In Canada if the rifle is above 500fps you need a PAL.
If the pistol is above 500 fps you need a RPAL, a restricted licence for handguns and centre fire semi-auto rifles.

The pumping for the Crosmans is what gets me. My brother bought one in '89 and I made nice grips and a pumping lever for it from koa wood, french polished and nice on the hands compared to the stock plastic. A very accurate pistol (his is a 1322) and very powerful at 8 to 10 pumps, but the clacking...

I built a shelf at regulation height for the Champion trap to sit on onto a piece of 5/8" plywood. It isn't a full size sheet but is 36" wide and 72" tall. It is a just in case when friends or the spouse join in. We can take it outside but most of the time it resides in the ManCave/ Z...
