Re: Thoughts on reforming RF

RF is a event were you find out that you suck very fast. It takes a lot of practice to get ok at it, and a lot more to be good. Excellent is another level altogether... Most people egos can't cope with it. It also demands a lot of ammo, making it the more expensive of the 25m ISSF disciplines in th...

The annoying thing is that the Xring, does not coincide with 10.5 (Correct me if I'm wrong).

I also approve of the beer idea!

Just out of interest, what brand of electronic targets are suitable for 25 yard prone?

I had one, it was a disaster. Never again, stick with the mechanical trigger and not have the hassles.

There is a good reason Pardini discontinued it!

Bob
How does that compare to the price that the Walther SSP used to sell for? Here in NZ the SSP was about $1000 more than a Pardini. Hardly anyone bought them! How much is the Pardini in Aus?

Try some SK if you can get it. The lube is more greasy than waxy if you know what I mean!

Re: ISSF Rule 7.4.1.5 - Barrels

I have a silencer insert that fits inside the tube, not ISSF legal, but useful if you train in a noise sensitive location. It can be removed easily, also fouls up a bit and needs regular cleaning.

The air cylinders might cause more problem than the pistol itself.

I've tried CCI "Quiet" in my free pistol (and some bolt rifles). Not super accurate at 50m, but fun to shoot due to low noise and recoil.

Any athlete born between the 1st of January and the 31st December, will cease to be a Junior on the 31st December of that year.

Is it just me, or does this sentence make no sense at all, as it is totally redundant???

Re: Accuracy 4.5 air pellet vs .22 (rimfire) vs .32 S&W Long Wadcutter

I once put my air postol (Steyr LP10) in a machine rest and tested it at 25m. Groups were every bit as good as .22lr and better than .32S&W Long. But, this was on a very calm day. If the wind was blowing then the air pistol would be much more effected than the .22lr. We used to shoot 25m sport p...
